Happy Holidaze! We have a lot to celebrate. From 95 percent of our Congressional champions who ran being reelected, to welcoming newly elected medical cannabis supporters, to the landmark medical marijuana case that reverses the conviction of a San Diego dispensary operator, Jovan Jackson, and also the landmark federal case to reclassify marijuana for medical use, Americans for Safe Access v. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Washington and Colorado both passed marijuana legalization measures. Massachusetts became the 18th state with medical marijuana laws. We just held our annual medical cannabis competition, The Patient's Choice; which is a benefit for our ASA SF chapter. It was extremely successful! 30 strains, half dozen concentrates, and edibles. The winning strain was a clean green certified Strawberry Cough from The Green Diamond Collective. Winning concentrate was OG Dabby Taffy, from SPARC, and the winning edible was The Salted Dark Chocolate Caramel from The Green Cross.
