Me & my wandering mind
I clearly remember getting in trouble for daydreaming in school. I was diagnosed with ADD early on, but my mom, being an RN refused to allow me to take Ritalin out of concerns. I'll admit I struggled in school to the point I was asked to leave. I eventually went on to get GED and attend college, and I have learned to accept my wandering mind and even look at as a blessing. It helps me brainstorm new ideas, to reset my thoughts when irritated, and be more creative in general, which adds to my quality of life.
