Green Mile vs Wet Mile

Vallejo has embraced breweries, wineries, distilleries, with it's newest hip drinking district dubbed "The Wet Mile," yet still has not looked into adult cannabis consumption lounges, despite recently allowing medical cannabis dispensaries to now begin serving adults 21 and up.

Research has shown cannabis to be much safer than alcohol consumption and even reduces binge drinking in areas where there's access. In fact,

Cannabis consumers deserve establishments which will allow them to imbibe their relatively harmless substance in comparison to alcohol in a public setting, where they can interact with others, just like at a bar.

Because 'cannabis smokers are far less of a threat to society than drunks'

Not to mention cannabis's potential to offset opioid deaths. Research has shown a dramatic decrease in opioid deaths in areas where people have immediate access to cannabis. 

That's why I'm calling for a "Green Mile." I'd like to be part of any effort to help Vallejo permit consumption lounges, so we can potentially create a cannabis-friendly district. Please let me know if you are already part of an effort to do this, or if you would like to join me in beginning one.
