I recently attended Americans For Safe Access Medical Cannabis Academy and Hill Day! 🌿✨ It was an incredible experience sharpening our advocacy skills, participating in strategy discussions, and meeting key members of Congress. We shared personal stories about how federal policies impact our lives and stressed the importance of passing Comprehensive Medical Cannabis Legislation to Protect Patients.

Did you know that 38 states, DC, and three territories allow medical cannabis use, but it's still illegal at the federal level? 🚫 This creates problems for patients, exposing them to legal prosecution, limiting insurance coverage, and enabling discrimination. We need Congress to act and pass comprehensive federal medical cannabis legislation! 🏛️✅

ASA's solution: We're urging Congress to establish an Office of Medical Cannabis, ensuring access to therapeutic cannabis, regulating its production, and introducing Schedule VI for cannabis. 📝 By passing this legislation, Congress can make a significant difference in patients' lives.

For over 25 years, patients and caregivers have paved the way for medical cannabis access. Now it's time for Congress to step up and pass comprehensive federal legislation. 🙌 Patients deserve respect and protection, and it's Congress's responsibility to provide it.

Let's bring uniformity to medical cannabis laws nationwide! Every state has its own regulations, creating inconsistency in patient care and access. 🌎 The State of the States Report by Americans for Safe Access reveals shocking disparities between states. It's time for federal oversight and coordination to ensure patients have the care they need, regardless of their location. 🌐
