Growing Names & Packaging Things
I picked up some cannabis named Pinot Noir the other day. While I don't like marijuana being compared to alcohol; ones really healthy the other is not really healthy, except maybe for a few glasses of wine a day lowering blood pressure and having antioxidant properties, It's no where near the healing propertoes of cannabis. But I started to ponder what if strain names were more like wines, labeled with the estate or vineyard and some fancy sounding names. Or like coffee for that matter, named after farms or fincas, and providing important information and many descriptors.
In my opinion this would raise our level of legitimacy and add to a sense of sophistication and class. As our movement goes mainstream, from counter culture to over the counter, we can broaden our appeal to entire population, which will allow us to gain traction and be taken more seriously.

Some things that really stand out for me are -
Tasting Notes - A tasting note refers to a taster's written testimony about the aroma, taste identification, acidity, structure, texture, and balance.
Date of harvest - One of the key to picking a good wine or coffee or anything is check the label for freshness. This applies to cannabis as well, so it only makes sense to provide this info. It's true that freshness with cannabis is important, and a cheap but freshly-harvested strain is better than an expensive one that's been stored for weeks, only to sit on a store shelf for weeks more.
Air tight vacuum sealed packaging - I love the new air tight jars, especially the dark uv ray protectant ones, but they are kind of clunky. I suggest selling jars alongside other utensils and providing cannabis in air tight, vacuum sealed bags, like these from Verve Coffee that even have a nice design.
