The 10th Annual ASA Medical Cannabis Unity Conference & Lobby Day

20 years ago I took a leap of faith. I packed up all my things, left my job, friends and family behind in Florida and moved to California, not knowing what life would bring.

I'm grateful to say it's been amazing! I've witnessed so much history, from wandering curiously down to the federal courthouse in SF for the Ed Rosenthal trial, to being involved in a landmark lawsuit against the CHP, to helping pave the way in the cannabis industry, to just helping patients and consumers choose their cannabis everyday.

I am filled with joy and happiness when I look at all I've experienced, and the progress we've made. We went from DEA raids on dispensaries on a daily basis to dispensaries being an essential part of a community. From having a handful of champions in Congress to having essentially an army of supporters, allies and champions today. And we are mobilized and ready.

I would have never accomplished as much without the tutelage and training from all the incredible staff at Americans for Safe Access all these years, so much incredible talent has gone through those ASA doors on to more powerful positions of influence in our community and industry.

I'm part of something bigger. We are committed to expanding patients rights and safe access to cannabis therapeutics and research across the globe.

I encourage you to join us this December for the 10th annual ASA unity conference and lobby day in DC asaunity.org
