Compassion Dies In California

Governor Brown vetoes SB 829, the compassion bill. Says free cannabis undermines rules and intent of voters. I for one do not buy this and will be assisting with any efforts to pass a compassion bill next legislative session.

Very weak move on Brown's part IMO. Many patients in need will suffer because of his action. Patients gave testimony that they we're turning to deadly opioids because they're cheaper.

I've heard Senator Weiner has already pledged to reintroduce this important bill that would remove fees and taxes from compassion programs. Stay to for updates, this issue is not over by far.
