Vote No on D in SF!! GOTV!!!!!
We are seeing record numbers of people registering to vote but we're also hearing that quite a bit of voter suppression is happening.
This election will probably be close, and that's why it's important for you to get out there and vote. And if you can do more there are plenty of volunteer opportunities to do phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, text banking, or some other form of voter contact over the next week or so.
Besides being a budtender at Magnolia Oakland, I am also chair of the San Francisco Chapter Of Americans for Safe Access, the largest national medical cannabis patient advocacy organization in the country.
After hearing from the Brownie Mary Democratic Club at last SF Safe Access chapter meeting we voted to officially oppose Prop D, the marijuana business tax increase, which would add additional taxes on top of what’s already become too much of a burdensome cost to many patients in need of safe and affordable access.
SF Safe Access is proud to be counted amongst an impressive list of groups opposing Prop D.
There are a number of fellow prominent political organizations and representatives in opposition including the Ed Lee Democratic Club, State Senator Scott Weiner, and CA NORML.
Please join us in opposing Prop D, and say No More Cannabis Taxes!!!!!
And feel free to attend our next SF Safe Access Meeting, Tusday, November 6th, 6pm at 847 Howard St. SF.
